By Order of the Phoenix, I command you to see this movie. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is about Harry Potter going into his fifth year at Hogwarts with Voldemort on the loose and a new, mean teacher ruling the school. Magic scenes are fun to watch and very exciting. The new characters are creepy and set up new levels of trauma for Harry. This HP film spent too much time talking and reviewing the past and not enough action. Overall, though,Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix casts a good spell. Ages 9+

AWESOMENESS

Best movie ever. I agree with that parent review, bellatrix gives me a lot of nightmares because she kills Tonks (Sorry, spoiler alert for those who haven't seen Deathly Hallows yet) who is the most freakin awesome person in all of harry potter, I cried for days... But overall this is a great movie i would recommend it to anyone!

PARENT REVIEW: The Best Harry Potter Film

Harry Potter films (as the books) are dark and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is no different, although perhaps less frightening than some of its predecessors. We see a couple of ghostly Dementors and escaped convict Bellatrix Lestrange could definitely cause some nightmares, but the fifth Potter is more cerebral than the others.

Some solid conversation starters here. For one, the Ministry of Magic feels a lot like the American and British government that may deny the truth to solidify their agenda and hush their opposition through twisting information in the press. Second, monsters in real life are people who probably don't even recognize that what they are doing is evil . . . as we see in Hogswart Administrator Deloris Umbridge.

This Potter also has a strong message about bullying. The film opens with the way not to deal with a bully and closes with a far better resolution on this topic than I've seen in any other film. As a parent, this Potter may be the best. For kids 9 and older.

Ty-Simpkins: Meet IRON MAN 3's 11-year Old Star

altby Miranda R., Age 15

At 11 years old, Ty Simpkins already has quite a few credits on his resume. Simpkins has been in movies since he was barely 3 months old, and has roles in flicks such as Insidious, The Next Three Days, and Little Children. Maybe even more interesting is how many times he's been cast in films with his real life sister Ryan Simpkins - they play siblings in Revolutionary Road, Pride and Glory and Arcadia, among others.

altBut for Iron Man 3, Ty's first action movie, he goes it alone. Ty plays Harley Keener, an intelligent kid who has a run-in with Iron Man and actually helps him save the day.

Ty's favorite part of working on Iron Man 3 was being able to spend time with its star Robert Downey Jr. "Robert's really fun to work with. He's a really nice guy."

Like many kids his age, Ty is a huge Iron Man fan. "My favorite superhero is Iron Man and I'm not just saying that because I worked on the Iron Man movie. It actually is Iron Man," he says very emphatically....
