The script is more atrocious than Jonah Hex's face. Jonah Hex is about an undead bounty hunter saving the country from the man that killed his family. Jonah Hex is a sub-par comic adaptation with mediocre acting and action at best. The action which should be the highlight feels super censored which takes the fun out of the violence. The story leaves you confused by the lack of explanation and context which all the further makes the film just unbearable. By the way Megan Fox's role is pretty limited, but that okay her acting was more dead than an undead cowboy. Ages 13+

WORST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!

Jonah Hex is a piece of trash. There really is no plot. The "superhero" which is Josh Brolin has horrible acting. The movie is only 80 minutes. But i'd rather be in jail than watching this film.It is that HORRIBLE! The action scenes could be too intense for younger kids. But i advise you not to watch this dumb film. But if you want to go right ahead.

PARENTS: A Hex On Parents Who Bring Kids

You can save the popcorn money at JONAH HEX: between his disfigured face and the gruesome acts of violence, you will lose your appetite.

JONAH HEX might as well have stuck with it's original R rating. The violence is nonstop ... and I mean, nonstop. While the filmmakers cut away so you don't actually see someone's head being squeezed off or Hex's face actually getting singed off, we see everything that leads up to it and following (although, to get that PG-13 rating...almost no blood).

Hex's half-burned off face (that includes a hole just past the smile mark) is pretty hard to watch, in fact, I had to look away whenever he was on the screen. Hex has the ability to communicate with dead people by bringing them back to life...to some degree...but while they're alive, their skin starts burning. One guy even starts burning in his eyeballs. Just as gruesome to look at is Megan Fox's too skinny waistline in a corset ... she looks like she's missing a couple of ribs. Yum, pass the popcorn.

Jonah Hex is an anti-hero and not a particularly good guy. He is a solider who originally signs up for the Confederate side because "he doesn't like the government to tell him what to do." He then trades sides (becoming a "traitor") when his Confederate commanding officer orders him to burn down a hospital and killed the officer's adult son because "things got out of hand." As a subsequent career, Hex is a bounty hunter bringing people in more dead than alive.

There's no redeeming element to JONAH HEX; a hex on parents who take their younger kids. For ages 15 and up.
