Santa Clause 3: Where's our Escape Clause? The film is about Scott a.k.a. Santa Clause dealing with his visiting in-laws and the mischievous Jack Frost. The story takes a long time to get to the climax of the movie and the payoff is not too long. With little entertainment and interest, Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause is not worth your $10. There was no present of laughter in this Santa "Clause" movie. Ages 5+

PARENT REVIEW: Bad Santa

Santa Claus 3: The Escape Clause is missing the warmth and the humor of the previous two films. Frankly, it has a negative feeling to it.

Scott/Santa Claus is behind schedule and his wife Carol is about to give birth to their baby any day. Carol is very unhappy to be without any human "tall people" at the North Pole so they decide to bring her parents up. Her parents are unhappy people who nag and guilt -- and not in a funny way, Carol pouts a lot, and Jack Frost mean spiritedly breaks things. Those elements could be funny but in this case, it is just frustrating. At one point, "Sandman" blows sand in Carol's parents faces to put them to sleep because he couldn't stand to hear them argue -- he's not the only one.

Also, part of the "solution" to the problem involves the 9 year old breaking in and stealing something. I didn't walk out feeling good about the film or like I'd been entertained. For kids 7 and older.

Ty-Simpkins: Meet IRON MAN 3's 11-year Old Star

altby Miranda R., Age 15

At 11 years old, Ty Simpkins already has quite a few credits on his resume. Simpkins has been in movies since he was barely 3 months old, and has roles in flicks such as Insidious, The Next Three Days, and Little Children. Maybe even more interesting is how many times he's been cast in films with his real life sister Ryan Simpkins - they play siblings in Revolutionary Road, Pride and Glory and Arcadia, among others.

altBut for Iron Man 3, Ty's first action movie, he goes it alone. Ty plays Harley Keener, an intelligent kid who has a run-in with Iron Man and actually helps him save the day.

Ty's favorite part of working on Iron Man 3 was being able to spend time with its star Robert Downey Jr. "Robert's really fun to work with. He's a really nice guy."

Like many kids his age, Ty is a huge Iron Man fan. "My favorite superhero is Iron Man and I'm not just saying that because I worked on the Iron Man movie. It actually is Iron Man," he says very emphatically....
