Mulan is a movie that takes place in China a long time ago. People from the Chinese Army say that one man from every family has to fight in the Chinese War. So Mulan dresses up as a man because her father is not strong enough to fight. When she is offered to fight, she goes to training and is bad at first. When the Huns (bad guys) come she has to step up her game and she does. She has to defend her country of China. I thought it was an okay movie because it was good, but it was not all that. I think this because it didn't have correct facts. My favorite character was Mu Shu the dragon because he helps Mulan and was also funny. I would recommend this movie to all ages because it did not have bad use of language. It was good but not that good. I rate it a two.

Mulan

Mulan was a girl in the movie. Her father needed to go in the army but Mulan didn't want her father to get into the army, so she gets into the army. She dressed up like a man. She saved the emperor. I think this movie is good because I like war movies. She also is very filial to her father.

Tate's Review

Mulan is about a girl who is brave and takes her father's place in the war. Shanyu is the enemy of China in this movie. You have to be a man to join the army, so Mulan joined and acted like a man.

I felt sad during the movie because Mulan joined the war and she could have got herself killed. I recommend this movie for ages 3 and up because there is violence in the movie. I give this movie 2 stars because I usually don't watch cartoons and it is not a good movie. It is not my type of movie because it wasn't interesting.

Mulan

Mulan is an awesome movie about new recruits in training trying to become Chinese warriors. Most of them are Chinese men, but one of the people in the group, named Mulan, is a woman in disguise as a man. Mulan is unsuccessful in many of their activities (especially blocking attacks), so their leader is ashamed of her. Then, one dusky morning, she thought, "I'm going to climb to the top of that pole," and by the time Mulan's companion recruits looked out their windows to see what was all the hover-round, she was more than 3/4 up the rather slippery pole. Everyone's faces were full of suspense. "Will she make it?" they thought. "Will she really make it?" Yes, Mulan indeed made it, and ever since then, Mulan was the best one in the group. Later, their leader and them went into snowy mountain regions, and, without warning, were surrounded by thousands of enemy soldiers under the command of Shanyu, a very powerful rival. While Shanyu and his team were charging full speed ahead toward them, right when Mulan's teammates were about to fire a cannon at Shanyu, Mulan swooped down, took the cannon, and went runningn in the direction of a gigantic cliff. Then Mulan fires the cannon into the cliff, causing a huge avalanche to fall upon Shanyu and his soldiers.

I liked all of the characters, really, except for the crooks, includin Shanyu especially. I would recommend this movie for people who like quaint and adventurous movies and ages 6 and up. If I were you, I would ask your parent or guardian if they can rent (and I would recommend buying) this movie. If they say no, start begging and pleading until they say, "All right, all right! I'll buy it! Just shut up!" It always works, trust me.

Mulan

Honestly my favorite part in the movie was when the credits showed up. I don't like comical movies and it was not good. It was not realistic at all which was hard to watch. So if you are thinking about watching Mulan you shouldn't unless you are a children from 4-6 who might actually like it. Now if you actually want to know what it's about it's about a girl who goes to war for her dad without telling him and save her country from invaders in a not realistic way. So I would not recommend this movie to you.

Mulan

I thought Mulan is an excellent movie about adventures. I think Mulan is appropriate for kids of all ages. I'm going to tell you a little about Mulan but not enough to spoil the movie. Mulan is about a girl who lives in China. She feels bad that her father has to fight in the war. So she dresses up like a man and that night she went out on her horse, to the army training. At first no one liked her, especially the instructor and on top of that she wasn't too great at the army stuff either. But then one night she tried really hard and she actually made it to the top of this long wooden training pole. That morning when the instructor saw her he was very impressed. After that the instructor and Mulan got along together well. But one day, when they were fighting in the war, she got shot in her chest and her secret of being a girl was revealed. If you want to hear more, watch the movie!
