Angela Bassett & Aaron Eckhart Join OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN

UPDATE: Angela Bassett (Green Lantern) will play the head of the secret service and Gerard Butler's boss in Olympus Has Fallen. Butler is a secret service agent who takes it upon himself to save the president when North Korean terrorists take over the White House. Aaron Eckhart (Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight) plays the president.

March 19, 2012 - Gerard Butler (How to Train Your Dragon) will star in and produce the Die Hard-esque action film Olympus Has Fallen for Millenium Films. It's about an ex-secret service agent who has to save the President (and, assumably, freedom and liberty) when the White House is overtaken by terrorists. Olympus Has Fallen starts production in September.
