Ladies and Gentlemen, the anti-Twilight has arrived! The Hunger Games is about a lavish capital forcing lesser districts to send 24 teens to fight to the death. One of the concerns about a movie adaption of the hit book was that the killing would be toned down. Rest assured this film milks the PG-13 rating for all it'll give and manages to make the brutal kills as wincing as possible. The acting is top notch and the settings are breathtaking when it need to be. While it does sacrifice a few things, The Hunger Games manages to be faithful to the book and paces itself very well. May the odds be in your favor to be able to see this. Ages 13+

let the most epic movie of the year.....BEGIN!

As a fan of the hunger games book series, I was impressed with the movie I never thought would happen. The theme of the movie is teens fighting to the death in a nature filled arena. The violence is frequent and bloody but it is likely that hunger games fans will not be suprised. Katniss (Jenifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) made a great couple. WAY to violent for 9 year olds and younger. Best for 11-12+

The Hunger Games,it was pretty epic. Even though I didn't read the books( which I heard was a really great series. ) I will admit I got a little emotional at parts because of a girl my age crying and preying for her sister to win and come back. It was really cool to see the two on FIRE, rich people dressed in amazingly complicated and fantastic costumes. Overall, this movie is wonderful! See it whenever you get the chance.

Great Film Adaptation

I love this book and I thought that the writer and director did a great job adapting it for film. There were some scenes that were in the book that are great details for the story, such as Madge who was not in the movie. In the end I thought this was one of the best film adaptations of a book I had ever seen. This series will go down in history just as Harry Potter and Twilight. I loved it.

;)

Hi! This is a great movie! My friends have seen it like 3 times! The only thing is violence. But the camara is really shaky so it doesn't show much. That can be a good thing and a bad thing. I would say 13 and up. You should read the book before the movie though too! :)

LOVE IT!!!!!

Sasha- Ok, The Hunger Games is about two tributes from each of the 12 districts being picked to fight to the death in an arena by the capitol. Katniss Everdeen, the main character volenteers to prevent her sister Primrose from having to go.

Talia- Would you do that for me?

Sasha- Uhhh so what did you think of the movie?

Talia- It's so sad. I've heard the next two are even sadder.

Sasha- Yes but besides that.

Talia- Sasha, your a big butt. But I think that it was sad when Rue dies but also sweet in a way.

Sasha- It followed the book very well except for some minor details.

Talia- It was full of excitement and anxiousness! It moved very fast too, so you have to pay good attention!

Sasha-Yes! I am reading the book and now I can picture everything better because I saw the movie!
