UPDATE: Will Ferrell will play Owen Wilson's brother-in-law in The Internship, a home electronics retailer who makes inappropriate comments about his good-looking customers. Ferrell completes The Wedding Crashers trifecta. Now, is Isla Fisher available?
July 31, 2012 - "The Daily Show" correspondent Aasif Mandvi, JoAnna Garcia Swisher ("Gossip Girl," "Privileged") are part of the recent additions to the cast of the Vince Vaughn-Owen Wilson starrer The Internship, about two middle aged guys who are downsized and try to start new careers from the bottom up as interns. Mandvi, who has lit up the big screen in films like The Proposal and The Last Airbender, will play the hardnosed director of the internship program. Garcia Swisher will play Vaugn's girlfriend.
John Goodman (ParaNorman, Monsters Inc & Monsters University, "Community") will play the ultimate boss and comic Eric Andre will play an advisor to Vaughn and Wilson.
Rose Byrne (X-Men: First Class, Bridesmaids), Jessica Szohr ("Gossip Girl"), Dylan O'Brien ("Teen Wolf") and Max Minghella (The Social Network) co-star.

April 13, 2012 --Wedding Crashers co-stars Vince Vaughn (Fred Claus) and Owen Wilson (Marley & Me) will reteam for The Internship with A Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy at the helm. The film is about two middle-age salesmen who find themselves unemployed in a job market that's completely changed since they started their careers...so the two get internships at a digital company to learn about the tech world. Vaughn wrote the script and will produce through his Wild West Picture Show Productions. Levy, who usually does comedies like Date Night but recently showed his mettle (and metal) in Real Steel, will also produce through his 21 Laps production company. Assumably, The Internship is set with 20th Century Fox where Levy has a first-look deal.
