Bedtime Stories is a must see for any kid. It’s funny and creative. I enjoyed this film and I think lot’s of other kids will too. I’m really glad I saw it.

The stories Skeeter (Adam Sandler) told his niece and nephew were my favorite parts of the film, and the fact that they had connections to the real world was an interesting touch. The look of the stories was great, the stories were funny, and all in all, I love a good story. I think people will be very pleased with them.

This film was very well played. It had a good cast and they were very funny. Everybody would enjoy watching them on screen. You’ll really have good time watching them.

Bedtime Stories has some fairy tale romance, EW! But it’s not to bad. Not as bad the stuff in films like Cinderella or Snow White. Still, I’m pretty sure a fair percentage of the child population thinks romance is gross.

Now go and see this film. It’s really good but I have one warning... Bugsy’s eyes are a little creepy at first. They’re SO HUGE!

Great

If you like fantasy movies or ever dreamed of going into a story this is a movie for you! This movie is definatley diffrent but in a good way. When the kids add on to the story whatever they say happens in real life.
There wasn't really anything I disliked about this movie.
If your going to see a movie I recommend Bedtime Stories!

PARENT REVIEW: Very Funny

I like this movie. It was funny and had meaning. And while Adam Sandler is his true comedic self and rides the line of appropriate, it was fun for all ages 10 or up in our household.

SOOO Funny

Bedtime Stories is SOOO funny! You know how a bedtime story goes but you also have to know Bugsy the guinea pig: he has really big eyes and eats too much. For instance, he gets fat and then he works out on a tiny treadmill. I want my mom to tell me bedtime stories! I think 4 and up would like this movie.

PARENT REVIEW: Feels like Disney circa 1974

Bedtime Stories is a return to the Disney films parents grew up with. So, while there are moments of irresponsibility in the film, it's no more than what we saw with Freaky Friday or Herbie The Love Bug.

The narrator at the beginning sets the tone that what the audience will see is pure fantasy storytelling. Bedtime Stories gives us the ill-mannered but hardworking Skeeter (Adam Sandler) who is passed over for promotions he was promised. When his sister (Courtney Cox) has to leave town for a week, Skeeter watches her overprotected kids. With no TV in the house, Skeeter decides to tell the kids a story only to realize that their bedtime stories come true.

Most of Skeeter's bad behavior has a consequence but it concerned me that Uncle Skeeter told the kids not to tell their mother things they did when they were with him. The "it's our little secret" thing from the creepy uncle sends chills up any parent's spine.

Bedtime Stories gleefully antagonizes responsible parenting as in parents who discourage their children watching television and playing video games, feed their kids healthy foods and drive a Prius and making the sister character admit how she's no fun and never has been. To be fair and give full disclosure, I might be a little sensitive since I drive a Prius, buy organic, and restrict TV and video games. Still, by equating responsible and thoughtful behavior as "no fun" and irresponsible behavior as "fun" and "good guy" sends the wrong message to kids.

Skeeter also rushes to save the day by stealing a motorcycle ("it's for a good cause" is uttered to make it okay) and then, not knowing how to ride one, endangers people by driving it unsafely and erratically and jumping through a train car. Again, though, bad driving is the hallmark of all those 70s Disney films.

Overall, the message of using your imagination to make your own happy endings is beautiful. Bedtime Stories is pure fun for kids.
