Men in Black 3

No need to bring out the neuralyzers, you'll want to remember this. Men in Black 3 is about Agent J traveling back in time to save his partner and correct history. Men in Black 3 is just okay, in it could have been better yet it had the potential to be so much worse. The series still retains its kicks following a near decade hiatus and still brings much of the action and one liners that made the first couple films memorable. What's disappointing is that the movie doesn't feature much of the great and funny characters that brought some of the best moments in the series and instead only get passing references in favor of "its the 60's/time-traveler." While the humor is still serviceable, it just doesn't feel as good as the talking dog or wise cracking shrimp aliens. I had a lot of doubt for this movie, but I'm glad to see that those fears didn't materialize and that I was still able to have a good time. Ages 12+

Crazy Fun & Completely Satisfying

MEN IN BLACK 3 is just as fun as its predecessors but this time, it's nostalgic as well. Older teens will remember the MEN IN BLACK series and the third offers satisfying payoffs to the first two films. Even in 3D, MIB3 is consistent with the original and its sequel as well -- so as a parent, you should be able to predict if the film will be too much for your child. The foul language is plentiful, although nothing too extreme, and the aliens are more gross than believably scary -- at least not for older children. Once its on DVD, I can't imagine it will scare anyone. Additionally, it's always enlightening for kids to see history brought to life and MIB3's time travel plotline shows 1969 in vivid detail, including racism and the lunar launch. If you can tolerate the cursing, then it's okay for 3rd grade and up.
