Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted made a strong first showing at the box office with $60.4 million beating out Prometheus' $50 million for first place. For the rest: Snow White and the Huntsman made $23 million for third, Men in Black 3 made $13.5 million for fourth, The Avengers made $10.8 million, and Battleship made $2.3 million.
