While Kristen Stewart is definitely the most nominated star with 17 if you include the nominations for the movies where she is the main character and star, Breaking Dawn 1 and Snow White and the Huntsman (and she will most definitely win at least one surfboard), however, Stewart herself only received four of those nominations. Emma Stone also received four nominations for The Amazing Spider-Man, The Help and Crazy, Stupid, Love. Channing Tatum is the most nominated actor, however, with six nominations for 21 Jump Street and The Vow (the films together received a total of 11 nods) but those movies were less impactful in the teen space, so he's less of a sure thing. The Avengers, 2012's biggest movie so far and undoubtedly loved by teens age 13-19, got nine nominations...just a little more than the six awarded to What to Expect When You're Expecting, the star-studded movie that literally no teen was remotely interested in seeing (other than possibly the cast of MTV's "Teen Mom").
The Teen Choice Awards are always a fun show, but the pandering to celebrities to show up to the event has never been more obvious and, frankly, it's an insult to its audience. Regardless, here are the nominees in the film category (click on the title to go to the review page and see what other kids had to say about it). My prediction of *who will win each category is listed on top: MOVIE STAR Male

Liam Hemsworth as Gale, The Hunger Games ... (I'll go out on a limb and say more people will vote for Capt. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 is the most nominated movie with 11 nods in The Teen Choice Award 2012, with The Hunger Games coming in second place with eight nominations. Those nominations are where logic stops in the Teen Choice Awards, this year really proving that the awards are less about rewarding the teen audience and more about trying to attract viewers by nominating the biggest stars, regardless of the movies appeal to teens, were seen by teens or are even movies teens care about.
Rated R films geared to 40 year olds like American Reunion and Rock of Ages received nominations and films with small appeal like We Bought a Zoo and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close received nominations for the big A-list stars like Scarlett Johansson, Matt Damon and Sandra Bullock. Additionally, movies and stars were nominated in various categories, clearly to up the chances of the stars winning and therefore showing up to the award show - Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are nominated twice for Best Actor and Actress for their performance as Edward and Bella in Breaking Dawn Pt. 1 in both the romance and sci-fi/fantasy category.
