Reese Witherspoon to Star & Produce PRINCESS BOOT CAMP

Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon (Legally Blonde) will star in and produce Pennyroyal's Princess Boot Camp for Summit Entertainment. Witherspoon optioned the unpublished novel from Cartoon Network staff scribe M.A. Larson ("Kick Buttowski," "My Gym Partner is a Monkey" "Sym-Bionic Titan"). The story is about an orphan who trains to become a warrior princess focused on fighting a group of wicked witches. Larson's novel has since been picked up by Putnam Children's, who will also publish a follow-up novel for the story. Witherspoon's Pacific Standard production company will make the movie for Summit. Witherspoon is currently pregnant with her third child.
