BOURNE's LEGACY Enough to Dethrone Batman

The Bourne Legacy, the reboot/sequel to the Jason Bourne series, has become the new box office champ with $40.2 million made for first. It wasn't the only film to beat The Dark Knight Rises, the political satire film The Campaign beat the reigning champ $27.4 to $19.5 million for the second spot. For the rest it was Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days with $8.2 million for fifth, Total Recall right behind it with $8.1 million for sixth, Ice Age: Continental Drift with $6.7 million for eighth, and Step Up Revolution with $2.8 million for ninth.
