It's not really fair that I judge Twilight because a) I've never read the book and b) I'm not a sceaming teenage girl. But if you want my opinion...Twilight is terrible, has cheesy acting + effects + moments, the story is wasteful and never seems to go anywhere, and it takes an hour and a half to reach the climax which then lasts 5 minutes. The title is a self-fulfilling prophecy: the lights of Twilight are dim.

Awesome movie!

Well, I haven't read the books, but I really liked the movie! And, I didn't think I would! I actually saw Vampires Suck before I saw Twilight and New Moon! (They did a good job!) I think this movie had great special effects, and showed great romance, but, I think Bella has TOO much of an obsession with Edward! I wouldn't recommend this movie and the rest of the saga to kids under the age of 13 though!

Book was better

I read the book before the movie and the movie ruined everything. I liked all the characters except for Edward and Bella. Robert and Kristen did horrible acting. So cheesy and lame. I hated the way they made Edward have lipstick. Watching / hearing Edward and Bella kiss was torture! It sounded like someone eating a peach. There were so many awkward moments between Edward and Bella. They changed up a lot of things from the book. Just a bad movie.
