If you ever get the chance to see this, don't. Alien Trespass is a tribute to the cheesy, campy 50's horror films and ends up a cheesy, campy 50's film that doesn't take it self seriously. Too be fair, it is supposed to come off like a cheesy, campy 50's horror film, but there is no enjoyment factor whatsoever. Oh, and don't get me started on the annoying 50's slang that will test anyone's nerves. In the end it was one big wasted hour of my life and I didn't bother to stay to the end. It was that bad.

PARENT REVIEW: Replace 'Why Not' with Why? and Not

Why ALIEN TRESPASS was created may remain as much of a mystery as the happenings in Roswell, NM. The special effects aren't any better than the original 50s flying saucer type sci fi stories, nor does it appear meant to be.

As awful as it was, I thought perhaps ALIEN TRESPASS would feel like "Power Rangers" to kids where the effects are SO fake it wouldn't be scary. I was wrong. Characters are being killed by the Ghota monster which leaves them as a puddle of slime. Most of it is off camera but one scene does show the character being killed and that was too much for my 8-year old who pleaded with me to leave. She's kind of a toughie, too, so I was surprised.

Did the end clear up the scary parts? I wouldn't know. My daughter was so freaked out by the man whose innards were squeezed out of him she begged for us to leave before it was over. Ages 9 and up.
