I really liked Barnyard except with the father dies. It was both funny and sad.

The Best Animated Movie I Have Ever Seen

This is the best animated movie I have ever seen. I give it an A+. Barnyard is sad and very cute when the baby calf arrives and the sad part is when Bill dies! You want to know more? Go see it!

PARENT REVIEW: A Movie for Teens, Surprisingly.

Barnyard could possibly help parent-teenager relations . . . if teenagers go see the movie. Otis is just a fun-loving cow, he doesn't see himself as a leader and he gets tired of his father always pushing lessons of responsibility on him. He thinks it should be someone else's job until there's no one else to do the job. Otis learns in a way that is fun for children and parents the hard way that there is a time and place for fun but our society and our friends survive by looking out for each other.

Another great lesson is that a courageous person (or animal) takes will take on the world alone but a smart one will take on the world with people who have their back. My only beef with Barnyard (sorry, I had to) is the joyriding and destruction of property without any real consequences. For kids of all ages.
