Chicken Little

Chicken Big Laughs. Chicken Little is not so much the story that you usually hear, although Foxy Loxy is still pretty mean. Instead, Chicken Little takes place one year later and Chicken Little is trying to regain his reputation and his father’s trust and love. Funny lines and great music bring lots of laughs -- even the credits are hilarious. Chicken Little is a great movie for a fun family night. Ages 3 and up.

PARENT REVIEW: The Worst Children's Movie Ever

Chicken Little was the worst children's movie EVER. It had the worst messages. The father couldn't love the child because he is an embarrassment? He couldn't believe him for the second time and apologized to the neighborhood because of his kid? The duck and pig were singing "If you wanna be my lover..." These are 5 year olds watching this movie. Then the wholesome neighborhood turned into "War of the Worlds" with scissor hands and axes and claws and blades and crop circles like signs? Ugh... the worst."

PARENT REVIEW: A Message Movie for Parents

Chicken Little is very clever. Where the Dreamworks movies like Madagascar and Shrek make humor for children and also humor for grown-ups (pop-culture references that go over the heads of kids), Chicken Little makes jokes that are equally hilarious to both kids and parents. For instance, poking fun of situations we all go through in school (the coach divides a team into “popular” and “unpopular”) and the frustration of not having a parent support you. Another element that makes Chicken Little unique is the moral of the story is directed at the PARENTS – which is listen to your children, they have something worthwhile to say. For all ages.
