Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakuel

ALVIN and  the CHIPMUNKS the SQUEAKUEL is the most FANTASTIC MOVIE I have EVER seen.

I LOVE how it is SO FUNNY and how Alvin is HILARIOUS! In the movie, Alvin was rocking out too much at a concert and accidentally knocked over Dave; Dave had to stay in the hospital for a while.  The Chipmunks go stay with a relative and go to high school where they have trouble fitting in at first. These girl chipmunks do a similar act but instead of working with Dave they work with the evil guy from the last movie.

There’s nothing I didn’t like…I liked it all! A+! 5 Stars! I think people from 5 and up will like it.

Not as good as the first

I thought it was an okay movie. Not as good as the first but still pretty good. Some of the jokes were very funny (I especially liked the "pole dancing" joke). But I would have liked it better if there were more dirty jokes. If you were trying to pick between the Squeakquel and the first; DEFIANTLY PICK THE FIRST!

World's First Squeakquel: Chipmunks Vs. Chipettes

The Chipmunks and the Chipettes are ready to rock and roll together again on the big screen for the first time since 1987's The Chipmunk Adventure in this hilarious, romantic, and sensational squeakquel to the 2007 heartwarming and hilarious holiday comedy that helped Alvin, Simon, and Theodore take the world by storm once again and created a new generation of Chipmunk Mania. David Cross returns to his role of Ian in kid-friendly style of Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight with hilarious results. With Chipmunk LOL, The two trios performing some of the hottest sounds from the 70's to today, Special guests Chuck's Zachary Levi, Wendie Malick, HSM Wildcat Chris Warren Jr., and two of the latest muscial breakouts Honors Society and Charice, and edge to make this movie bigger but not better than the first, No Kid's holiday movie wishlist should not be complete without the masters of music and comedy. Chipmunks and Chipettes do a Threequel, you deserve it I'm a bit disappointed Claire was not in it

PARENT: Squeaky Clean Fun

ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: THE SQUEAKUEL is a fun, cute film for the whole family. Really, you may think, for the WHOLE family? Even the too-cool-for-Chipmunk music teenager? Actually, yes: the filmmakers created a storyline that the teens may find relatable while delivering the singing, dancing, childlike creatures that younger kids love.

The chipmunks “dad” Dave Seville is injured in a stage accident during one of the Chipmunks’ (now full-blown international rock stars) concerts in Mexico…yes, because of a thoughtless act from “Alvinnnn!” This leads to the three being in the care of Dave’s 21-year old nephew (Zachary Levi from “Chuck”) who is a hard-core gamer. The “boys” go to high school where they’re bullied and teased. The brothers take different approaches to fitting in which winds up pulling them apart.

The Chipmunks and rival group The Chipettes sing familiar hits (including covers of Beyonce and Katy Perry tunes) so it keeps the movie flowing and makes it fun. A pole dancing joke stands out as inappropriate in a film that does so well at keeping it G-rated.

Really, though, SQUEAKUEL isn’t preachy and isn’t worrisome, it’s just more munktastic squeaky clean fun. For all ages.

Ty-Simpkins: Meet IRON MAN 3's 11-year Old Star

altby Miranda R., Age 15

At 11 years old, Ty Simpkins already has quite a few credits on his resume. Simpkins has been in movies since he was barely 3 months old, and has roles in flicks such as Insidious, The Next Three Days, and Little Children. Maybe even more interesting is how many times he's been cast in films with his real life sister Ryan Simpkins - they play siblings in Revolutionary Road, Pride and Glory and Arcadia, among others.

altBut for Iron Man 3, Ty's first action movie, he goes it alone. Ty plays Harley Keener, an intelligent kid who has a run-in with Iron Man and actually helps him save the day.

Ty's favorite part of working on Iron Man 3 was being able to spend time with its star Robert Downey Jr. "Robert's really fun to work with. He's a really nice guy."

Like many kids his age, Ty is a huge Iron Man fan. "My favorite superhero is Iron Man and I'm not just saying that because I worked on the Iron Man movie. It actually is Iron Man," he says very emphatically....
