We at KidsPickFlicks.com have an immense amount of love for Turner Classic Movies. Watching classic films gave us our passion for film which eventually inspired Cole the Kid Critic to start this site at age 9. We even based who our cable/satellite provider would be based on which company had TCM on the most affordable tier (answer: Time Warner).
Therefore, KPF is thrilled and excited to report that TCM is going film fest with the TCM Classic Film Festival which will be held in conjunction with Vanity Fair April 22-25. If that coincides with Spring Break, this may be the year families should come to Los Angeles. Events will be held in the locations famouse for Old Hollywood roots: Grauman's Chinese Theater, the Egyptian Theater, and the Roosevelt Hotel (all of which are located close together along the primo stretch of Hollywood Boulevard).
The face of TCM, Robert Osbourne, will emcee the activities. We're sure there will be plenty of Ben Mankiewicz as well.
