I thought that the credits were so hilarious. This movie has a great message. I think that all of the theaters that made you pay to get in to it, should give you your money back. Keep having great animation, but more storyline, PIXAR. I have no idea why the movie critics picked it as one of the best movies of the year.

Lightning McQueen's selfish behavior creates a mishap where he winds up ripping up the streets of a little town who keep him under arrest until he makes restitution. By the end, the car and hopefully the viewer can see friendship and love is more important the coldness of money and celebrity. I have to warn you, though, that 45 minutes into the movie there was a constant level of talking and squirminess of the younger children excessive to what's normal -- CARS did not keep their interest.

I was horrified at a scene where our still self-concerned hero is in a hurry and speeds up to beat a train across the tracks -- no consequences or caution is shown in this example of dangerous behavior. Lightening also repeatedly tries to elude the police. An education about Route 66 is CARS' wonderful, unexpected history lesson.
