It starts off slow with a bunch of musical numbers but gets better the second. It has stars that kids like these days like Selena Gomez. Some kids might cry cause of loud explosions. It shows great encouragement for brothers and sisters to work together for example Walter and Gary. They are brothers but the only diffrence is that Walter is a MUPPET! Walter goes and tries to save the Muppets with a little help of Gary his human brother. I didn't expect to enjoy The Muppets as much as I did, the execution of THE MUPPETS makes the older audience feel like their 10 again and get all the fuzzy fun that made us tune in every week as kids. The film definitely plays to kids of the '80s (down to decorating Kermit's Bel-Air mansion in a style that can be best described as '80s rec room) but is accessible to a younger generation as well. Through the childlike wonder of Jason Segal's "Gary" and his muppet brother Walter, the audience feels the special, innocent magic that is The Muppets. The musical numbers are so fun and catchy (per usual). Cameos range from Selena Gomez and Jack Black for kids to Whoopi Goldberg and Alan Arkin for grandparents to Mickey Rooney for greatgrandparents! THE MUPPETS is marvelous.
