Hollywood Goes to THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL

altUPDATE: Universal will make the film version of "The School of Good and Evil" with Joe Roth producing. Roth is behind Oz the Great and Powerful and Snow White and the Huntsman. The story is about kids who are kidnapped from their homes and trained to be fairy tale princesses, heroes, or villains. It follows beautiful Sophie, who is dropped into the School of Evil, and her unattractive friend Agatha who is dropped into the School of Good and their unexpected reversal of fortune.

You're a Snow White."The School for Good and  Evil" book series is about regular kids who are recruited and taught how to be fairy tale heroes, damsels in distress and villains.  HarperCollins will publish the trilogy from rookie author Soman Chainani -- the first book will hit shelves spring 2013 -- and Jane Startz Productions (Ella Enchanted) will make a movie from the books.
