Top 5 Talking Animals in Animated Movies by Jacob Hopkins, the new "Gumball!"

Written by Tara the Mom    Friday, 08 November 2013 16:44

Meet the new voice of Gumball Watterson in Cartoon Network's "The Amazing World of Gumball" -- Jacob Hopkins! You can watch Jacob's version of Gumball, the blue 12-year old Elmore Junior High student who happens to be a cat, starting in the spring.

Since Jacob has become so familiar with cartoon animals...and because Free Birds is all about talking turkeys and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 has Barb the Ape and Stev e the Monkey, we asked him to list...

The Top 5 Talking Animals in Animated Movies

1.  Dug from Up. I like Doug the dog because he's one of those animals who is always happy, and he can turn something sad into something funny. The tone in his voice is awesome and makes you love him more.

2. Bruce the Shark from Finding Nemo. Bruce is pretty funny when he says his line, "Fish are our friends, not food." It makes me crack up coming from this gigantic, man-eating shark!

3. Daffy Duck from Looney Tunes Back in Action. I like Daffy because the way he talks is hilarious, his timing is super funny, and he always gets into all sorts of trouble that he never intended to get into.

4. Po from Kung Fu Panda. Jack Black as Po is so awesome! He makes Po such a great character and cracks me up because it's funny to think about this big panda that can move around super fast and is an expert at Kung Fu.

5. Bolt from the movie called, well, Bolt. Bolt is a funny dog because he thinks he has super powers, so
he's really cocky. He thinks he can beat anything and anyone. He believes styrofoam is his weakness!
